Excellences of Campania and Verace Sudd for the Cod Feast

Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September the "Festa del Baccalà" between excellent food, music and traditions.

The appointments between taste and tradition continue, organized by Excellences Campane and Verace Sudd , which on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September will host the " Festa del Baccalà " in the restaurant in via Brin in Naples.

Guests will be able to taste an à la carte menu entirely dedicated to this extraordinary food of our table, created for the occasion by the professionals of taste who animate Campania Excellence.

Many specialties and typical products to try: the Friggitoria area of the store will offer a dish consisting of fried cod fillet and green peperoncelli, while at the Panuozzeria there will be "Baccalà", the special panuozzo with Neapolitan-style cod and fiordilatte.

There will also be a special edition of the pizza, the "Somma Vesuviana", with fior di latte, cod, Neapolitan tarallo, curly endive, lemon zest and extra virgin olive oil.

At the Braceria, on the other hand, the Marchigiana carpaccio will be served with creamed cod, chopped pistachios and wild mint with polenta triangles.

Finally, Osteria Irpinia will offer three different themed dishes: tubettoni with Controne beans, cod with rosemary oil and roasted cod with escarole.

Music will not be lacking at the Festa del Baccalà: on the evening of September 25th, at 8.00 pm, with the guitar and mandolin of "A Pusteggia Napulitana", while jazz and swing notes performed live by "Elisabeth Queentet" will accompany the evening of the 26th. September, again from 20.00.

Furthermore, on Saturday 26th at 8.30 pm there will be an interesting meeting with Alfredo Pecoraro, veterinarian and writer, who will deepen with the audience the historical and nutritional aspects of cod.

By participating in the event there is a special discount of 20% on the purchase of all the products of the Market and the Excellences Campane dairy.
