COLLI EUGANEI DOC RETURNS TO MILAN

The red wines of the Colli Euganei DOC are back in Milan . On Wednesday, November 4, 2026 , the Andreola Hotel (Via Domenico Scarlatti, 24) will host a day of exclusive tastings thanks to the collaboration with FISAR Milano . The event, dedicated to both industry professionals and enthusiasts, will offer a unique focus on the excellence born from the historic Bordeaux grapes grown in the Euganean Hills since the first half of the 19th century. The program will be divided into two distinct sessions: from 3:30 pm (reserved for press and HORECA operators), tasting sessions dedicated to industry professionals. From 6:30 pm (open to the public), the Walk-around Tasting will begin. This informal tasting will feature the direct participation of Euganean producers, ideal for exploring the different stylistic and territorial nuances of the denomination. The central event of the evening will begin at 9:00 pm with an exclusive Masterclass . Sommelier Maurizio Spinelli and the President of the Consortium for the Protection of Colli Euganei Wines, Gianluca Carraro, will guide participants in a technical study to analyze the evolutionary potential and organoleptic profile of these great wines.

The tasting tables will be accompanied by a selection of excellent gastronomic products, designed to showcase the region's iconic products. Guests will be able to taste Prosciutto Crudo Veneto DOP , Grana Padano DOP and Asiago DOP cheeses, and high-quality extra virgin olive oil from the EVO Olivalto and EVO Moonlight labels.

The connection between viticulture and the environment is the true secret of the wines of the Colli Euganei DOC, an area recently recognized as a UNESCO MAB Biosphere Reserve. Produced from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Carménère grapes, these wines are distinguished by their ruby red color and modern style: intense and robust, yet capable of maintaining freshness and savory character, with a bouquet that ranges from red fruits to notes of tobacco, spice, and toast.
