Club Excellence at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2020

Two dates for two taste workshops that will allow wine lovers to travel through the fascinating worlds of Champagne and Riesling in the prestigious location of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto in Turin . The two appointments are signed by Club Excellence , a reality that brings together 18 of the most important Italian Distributions and Imports of fine wines and spirits. The first appointment is scheduled for Thursday 8 October at 7 pm and will offer a focus dedicated to the five classic areas of Champagne: Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sezanne and Côte des Bar. It will be a sparkling journey to the roots of the famous transalpine bubbles, which will allow you to get to know more closely the different terroirs that characterize one of the most famous appellations in the world. Champagne from Club Excellence importers will be offered for tasting: Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve distributed by Philarmonica, Louis Roederer Brut Premier distributed by Sagna, Autréau Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut distributed by AGB Selezione, Fleury Blanc de Noirs Brut distributed by Teatro del Vino , Pierre Gerbais Grains de Célles Rosè Extra Brut distributed by Les Caves de Pyrene and the Pannier Brut Selection distributed by Premium Wine Selection. The second appointment will be dedicated to the main grape variety of Germany, with a focus on Riesling scheduled for Sunday 11 October starting at 7 pm: an in-depth journey that will retrace this fascinating terroir by exploring the great influence that the numerous waterways that cross it have on wines. Despite the complicated period due to the measures adopted to contain the pandemic by Covid19, the members of Club Excellence continue their mission, which aims to make known and appreciated wines and wine-growing regions of which they themselves are great experts and admirers, including areas of choice of Champagne and Riesling.
