CIRÒ WINE FESTIVAL: THE HISTORIC DOC OF CALABRIA IS TALKED IN THE SUMMER EVENT

In the village of winemakers and sailors, where the first DOC of Calabria was born over fifty years ago, the 2023 edition of the Cirò Wine Festival kicks off, the historic appointment dedicated to the enhancement of the wine of the area and the widespread story of producers who are members of the " Consortium for the protection and enhancement of Cirò Doc and Melissa Doc wines ".

An event created to focus attention on the best-known Calabrian wine production area in the world, to enhance its territory, the work of producers and winegrowers which today brings together historic companies that are over a hundred years old and the new generations of vignerons in a perfect mix between tradition and modernity that represents an important cooperation network capable of promoting Gaglioppo and other native grapes on national and international markets.

Intense days with a varied proposal of appointments to best promote all the winegrowing realities in the summer period in which Cirò fills up with tourists, sector operators, winelovers, food and wine enthusiasts and journalists who come here to learn more about the aspects and production techniques of the most famous Calabrian wine in the world.
