On the eve of Vinitaly, Castello del Terriccio — a Tuscan winery led by Vittorio Piozzo di Rosignano —has chosen Verona for a private event combining signature tastings, contemporary art, and iconic design . Designed for clients, partners, and stakeholders of the historic Tuscan estate, this event will bring some of its most iconic labels to the heart of Verona: Con Vento (the only white), the reds Lupicaia, Tassinaia, and Castello del Terriccio, and the iconic Gian Annibale.
The event will be an opportunity to establish a creative dialogue between different but profoundly related languages : wine as a cultural expression, design as aesthetic experimentation, art as a form of interpretation of the present.
The event will unfold between two iconic locations for contemporary creativity in Verona's historic center, on Via Rosa : Seletti Store, a temple to visionary design by Stefano Seletti, and Peter Frey Art Gallery, an internationally recognized gallery for its research in contemporary art.
Here, amidst design installations and artwork, Castello del Terriccio wines will take center stage in an experiential tasting designed to explore the connection between terroir, creativity, and time. The tasting will feature some of the estate's signature wines, including Tassinaia and Lupicaia, labels that over the years have helped define the estate's elegant and distinctive style.
Verona will stage a story that begins in Tuscany: on the hills overlooking the Tyrrhenian coast, in the countryside between Bolgheri and the Val di Cecina, the estate houses a historic village immersed in nature, where hospitality meets signature cuisine. In addition to its wines, Castello del Terriccio boasts the Terraforte restaurant and a charming B&B, Villa La Marrana . These places are designed to slowly experience wine and the landscape, among vineyards, Mediterranean scrub, and sweeping sea views.
The same spirit of absolute experience and cultural collaboration now comes to Verona with this one-off event, born from a collaboration between three profoundly different yet iconic brands. Wine becomes a sensorial and cultural language, capable of dialoguing with art and contemporary design, transforming tasting into an immersive experience.
The event, closed to the public and by invitation only, is open to the press : to participate, send an accreditation request to eventi@gheusis.com, including your name, newspaper, mobile number, and email address.
