Cascine Piemontesi at the Pepper Fair

Cascine Piemontesi, the consortium promoted by Confagricoltura to promote and market the agricultural and agri-food productions of our territory, participates with the associated companies in the Carmagnola Pepper Fair from today until 5 September, in the exhibition area of Piazza Italia. The objective of Cascine Piemontesi is the enhancement of quality products, agritourism activities, educational farms and recreational-creative activities connected to agricultural businesses. As part of the Pepper Fair, three show cooking will be held in the exhibition stand of Cascine Piemontesi. Sunday 29 August 2021 from 6 to 10 pm will be presented "Carnaroli with the scent of Erbaluce di Caluso" and the "Fantasia of marinated Carmagnola peppers" paired with Erbaluce di Caluso Docg still and sparkling wines. Wednesday 1 September 2021 from 6 to 10 pm will be the turn of "La caponata del Wednesday" and Sunday 5 September 2021 from 6 to 10 pm it will end with "Viva la peperonata!". About a hundred agricultural activities have already joined Cascine Piemontesi; over 50% are located in the Langhe and Alba areas, but the number of companies in the Monregalese, Saluzzese, Saviglianese, Cuneese, Torinese and Asti areas is growing. Farmers and beekeepers, producers of fruit and vegetables, chestnuts, cereals and other agricultural crops, in the dairy, corilicolo and wine sectors belong to Cascine Piemontesi.
