Bubbles of the World: Casa Pisoni wins "Questione di Famiglia"

The Bollicine del Mondo guide awarded Casa Pisoni with Questione di Famiglia , a prestigious recognition awarded to the Pergolese (Trento) company on Sunday, June 7, during the Identità Golose Identità Future Congress. The sparkling wine house and historic Trentino distillery received the award thanks to its pioneering vision of the region and for its contribution to the founding of the Trentodoc Institute . Among the reasons for the award is: “For five generations, since 1852, the mantra of savoir-faire has been passed down in the family: a know-how already amply expressed not only in excellent sparkling wines but also in the art of distilling, in the name of elegance and the region. Today, with a spin-off brand dedicated exclusively to sparkling wines, it expresses a new and refined corporate identity.”

Bollicine del Mondo , now in its fifth edition, is Identità Golose's guide to the best of Italian and international wine production. 1,000 companies are represented, with 1,200 labels from 50 countries.

In addition to Questione di Famiglia , Casa Pisoni also won the Gold Medal in the first Trentodoc event of the ninth edition of the Edmund Mach Foundation's Local Wine Competition. On this occasion, the 2016 Riserva Erminia Segalla Riserva achieved a score of 91/100.

Pisoni 1852 The Pisoni company was founded in 1852, but the interest and love for the land and vineyards of the Trentino Valle dei Laghi began much earlier. Evidence of the Pisoni family's centuries-old history can be found as far back as the 16th century, when Carlo Antonio Pisoni supplied wines and spirits to the court of Prince Archbishop Cristoforo Madruzzo during the Council of Trent.
