Born around a coveted national award that has recognized the best Italian beer producer for 15 years, the three-day event will involve over 50 Italian breweries identified by votes carried out by 100 judges selected by the Fermento Birra network.
We start on Saturday 20 January (2 sessions from 12-5pm and 7-12pm) with an all-inclusive formula that allows unlimited tasting of the beers produced by the 20 breweries nominated for the Brewer of the Year award and the 3 producers nominated for the award Emerging Brewer. Only on Saturdays will there also be the "Born to be Wild" corner dedicated to wild and sour beers selected from the best interpretations of the Italian panorama. To participate it will be necessary to purchase the specific Beer Pass for a session (online purchase entitles you to reduced entry to 5 euros, instead of 10). An exclusive proposal, with a limited number of entries, which will guarantee enthusiasts an incredible selection of beers poured by the brewers themselves and above all freedom of choice among the 100 beers on tap without having to worry about payment during administration. On the stage of the theater there will be free tastings with experts and brewers. A space will be set up with seats and tables for the consumption of beer and food. Included in entry: silk-screened glass tumbler (possibility of choosing between two different models), cup holder shoulder strap and wardrobe (subject to availability).
On Sunday 21 January (12-8pm) the formula includes the purchase of beers via tokens (1 token = 1 euro) and entry upon payment of a ticket. At 100 spines there will be a selection of beers made by the top 50 breweries according to the Brewer of the Year award ranking enriched by some products signed by the 3 Emerging Brewers. All beers can be tried by purchasing tokens at the cash registers, while to access the theater it will be necessary to purchase an entrance ticket (10 euros) including a silk-screened glass tumbler at the ticket office. Those who want to be sure of entering (the last edition was sold out) will be able to purchase the Starter Pack (16 euros in tokens) which will also entitle them to a discounted entrance ticket (5 euros instead of 10 euros). The food present at the event can be purchased with cash or credit card directly from the exhibitors. Included in the entrance fee: silk-screened glass tumbler. Cultural meetings will be organized on the stage of the theater from 2pm to 4pm (programme to be defined).
The awards for the Emerging Brewer and the Brewer of the Year will be celebrated on the stage of the theater on Sunday 21 January starting from 4pm (Facebook live on the Brewer of the Year page).
There will be no shortage of good food thanks to a selection of street food with regional specialties such as arancini, cannoli, bread and panelle, Ascoli olives, fried cheese, kebabs, lampredotto, peposo, ribollita and "Tuscan style" pulled pork.
During the festival, a national competition for homebrewers will also be organized with awards on Sunday.
