BEYOND THE BUBBLES: THE SECRETS OF THE CLASSIC METHOD

On Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th, the doors of the historic Villa Mirra in Cavriana will open for the third and highly anticipated edition of Colline in Bolle , the event dedicated to the best Classic Method wines from Lombardy , organized by the Strada dei Vini e dei Sapori Mantovani and ONAV Lombardia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cavriana. A true journey to discover the diversity of grapes, soils, and the know-how of Lombardy's producers, marked by the prestigious denominations Oltrepò Pavese DOCG, Garda DOC, Lugana DOP, Alpi Retiche IGT, Terre Lariane IGT, Terre del Colleoni DOC, and Franciacorta DOCG . Colline in Bolle is more than an opportunity to taste dozens of Classic Method wines: it's a chance to meet wineries from across the region and discover the stories and dreams they encapsulate in every glass of sparkling wine.

In a festive and stimulating atmosphere, the event will offer attendees the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of wine by participating in the various masterclasses offered during the event, or simply to toast the commitment and work of Lombardy's producers. This year's toast will be even more meaningful thanks to the presence of AIRC , with its own fundraising stand and the "Shades of Pink" masterclass, the proceeds of which will be donated to the cancer research foundation.

The event will welcome the public with labels from approximately 50 different wineries. Highlights of this edition include three exclusive guided tastings, all held within the splendid stables of the 16th-century villa.

Saturday 25th, 5:00 PM - The expression of Pinot Noir in the Oltrepò will introduce this noble grape, which reaches its peak expression in the Oltrepò Pavese. This will be done through tastings of a selection of Classic Method wines, as well as through an original pairing with Grana Padano dei Prati Stabili, made from cows fed forage from natural ecosystems of great environmental value, respecting animal welfare.

Sunday the 26th, 4:00 PM - Shades of Pink , hosted by the ONAV Women's Group, will be a charity seminar dedicated to Metodo Classico Rosé. This in-depth look at this increasingly popular wine style is intended as a special example of solidarity and awareness. Proceeds will be donated to AIRC for women's cancer research , in the hope of helping create a better future for all women affected by this disease.

Sunday 26th, 6:00 PM - Franciacorta vs. Oltrepò: The Big Names It will feature some of the Lombardy wineries that have made Italian wine great. Led by an ONAV instructor, participants will discover special vintages and legendary labels, comparing two of the region's most famous terroirs.
