Best Verdiso: on the podium Serre, Le Manzane, Borgo Antico and Luigi Gregoletto

The best Verdiso 2023 wines were awarded in Combai, as part of the 32nd edition of the "E' Verdiso" exhibition which is part of the "Primavera del Prosecco" review, the widespread event that celebrates the food and wine tradition of the Colline di Conegliano Valdobbiadene, proclaimed on 7 July 2019 as a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Also this year the usual award for the best Verdiso was held, with the Serre winery in first place, Le Manzane in second place and the Borgo Antico and Luigi Gregoletto companies in third place on an equal footing.

Verdiso is an autochthonous wine of the Altamarca Trevigiana that the Pro Loco of Combai has been enhancing in its manifestation for 32 years.

Dry, lively, with hints of unripe apple and a slightly bitter aftertaste, it has a medium alcohol content, enjoyable with light hors d'oeuvres, fish and spring risotto with herbs.
