Back to the Rocca dei Borgia di Nepi, Divinarte: three days of wine and culture dedicated to Picasso

Picasso and his complex personality will be the leitmotif of the event which, as always, will combine the pleasure of art with that of good wine, combining cultural-theatrical performances and works with tastings organized in collaboration with the AIS sommeliers of Viterbo and with the presence of one of the leading experts in the sector, Carlo Zucchetti.

It is no coincidence that the title of the event is “Picasso the man, the lover... the artist. The Minotaur drunk with life": where the term "drunken" intends not only to refer to the complicated life of Picasso but also to that divine drink which has always been praised in the history of art and which he himself immortalized with symbolic or formal references through his works .

The 2023 edition of Divinarte aims to put the Picasso man at the centre, a man full of contradictions who is sometimes ruthless, stubborn, irascible and vengeful; he himself says of himself: "If all the stages of my life could be represented as points on a map and joined with a line, the result would be the figure of the Minotaur".

This is how he defined himself and represented himself in his works: he was an absolute "genius" who left his mark on the history of 20th century art.

Over the three days, a dense program of appointments, video projections, musical and artistic performances by the numerous artists present with their works will unfold and the evocative setting of the Fort will be the backdrop for a high-quality collective exhibition with sculptures, paintings and installations by various genre.

Very interesting guided tours will also be organized inside the Rocca with the possibility of visiting the tower called "Mastio".

Admission to the event is free.

For tastings, with free glass and glass holder shoulder strap, there are two options: €15 ticket for 12 glasses or €10 for 6 glasses.

The event is organized by Simona Benedetti, president of the AmorArte association, who also takes care of the artistic direction, while Maurizio Giovannetti collaborates for the wine section.
