At Golosaria Milano the Valtellina PGI Apple is presented to Europe

The Valtellina PGI Apple Protection Consortium presents MAME – More Apples More Europe at Golosaria Milano, the three-year European project focused on communication in the Italian and German markets, designed to raise consumer awareness of correct eating habits and the benefits of daily fruit consumption and fresh vegetables. There are two appointments in the calendar of the event, which will be held from 4 to 6 November at Allianz MiCo – Fieramilanocity , designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and to explain the characteristics of this product. The contemporaneity of the Tarte Tatin , the show cooking curated by chef Salvatore Garofalo of the La Ratera restaurant in Milan, will be held on Saturday 4 November at 3pm . Reserved for a parterre of thirty participants including operators, opinion leaders and influencers, the meeting will include an initial presentation of the European program and its objectives , moderated by the journalist Fabio Molinari. The organoleptic characteristics and nutritional properties that characterize this mountain fruit will be illustrated below. On Monday 6 November at 10.30 am the Valtellina PGI Apple Protection Consortium will participate in the institutional debate on project promotion during the award ceremony for the best restaurants in Lombardy, entitled Quality catering finds itself . In his speech Gianluca Macchi , coordinator of the MAME – More Apples More Europe program and director of the Società Cooperativa Agricola Melavì, will talk about the valorisation of the three PGI varieties , Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Gala, grown in the area. Golosaria Milano , a food and wine event created by journalist Paolo Massobrio and now in its 18th edition, is developed in six sectors dedicated to food, street cuisine, wine, Golosaria wine shop, mixology, children's area and in four event areas: Agorà, Wine Tasting , Show Cooking and Mixo Events
