On the evening of Saturday 11 April , starting at 7:30 pm , the prestigious setting of Palazzo Verità Poeta will host an exclusive invitation-only event , dedicated to promoting Umbria through its food and wine, cultural and musical excellence.
The initiative, promoted by Confcooperative, is reserved for a select number of guests and aims to showcase the region's most authentic side.
The heart of the evening will be a tasting dinner featuring certified Umbrian products, accompanied by a fine selection of local wines.
There will be many high-profile guests, introduced by Luigi Cremona , a well-known journalist and food and wine critic, along with representatives from the worlds of tourism, wine, cinema, music, and entrepreneurship linked to Umbrian luxury.
The menu will be curated by six chefs: Federico Montecchiani, executive chef of Locanda Petreja in Borgo Petroro , Davide Barone, chef of the Aurora restaurant , and Federica Pasetto, pastry chef and owner of Borgo dei Cipressi Country Relais , two charming establishments overlooking the hills of Todi . They have chosen certified Umbrian products and specialties as their ingredients. Wines will be featured, served and explained by the AIS Umbria representatives.
The event will also feature a collaboration with Umbria Jazz , which will enrich the evening with live music, thanks to the Jazz Club located inside Palazzo Verità Poeta. A harmonious blend of wine, music, and culture that fully expresses the region's identity.
The initiative is a preview of Vinitaly and represents an important opportunity to bring Umbrian excellence—not just wine—to the heart of Verona for the first time in such a comprehensive way, strengthening Umbria's position as a leading destination for high-quality experiential tourism.
