The wine entrepreneur Sandro Bottega is convinced of this and on the occasion of 8 March he thanks the many female managers (67% of the foreign commercial sector) who have made it possible to export the wines of Bottega SpA all over the world. And also regarding the salaries the entrepreneur Bottega confirms that he has imposed absolutely meritocratic criteria. <>, comments the wine entrepreneur Sandro Bottega, owner of Bottega SpA , the Venetian wine company from Bibano (Treviso) which exports the 86% of its wines, among which the famous Prosecco stands out in 150 countries around the world, and creator of the "Prosecco Bars" which are becoming popular all over the world. On the occasion of 8 March, Women's Day, Bottega SpA, the winery and distillery of Bibano di Godega (TV) confirms itself as a company with a strong feminine connotation. In fact, almost 50% of employees are women. Specifically, the workforce is made up of 95 women and 102 men. Furthermore, among the female employees there are various managerial roles, in the commercial, administrative and financial, marketing, design and environmental protection fields. In particular, we note an incidence of female managers of 67% in the foreign commercial sector; 50% in the strategic quality control, 33% in the production channels and 33% in the broad sector which includes administration, finance, human resources, management control and legal. Even in the activities most closely linked to the world of wine and spirits, the female presence is important and includes responsible winemakers, both in the cellar and in the distillery. It should be underlined that in this context a "master distiller" successfully operates alongside the master distillers. This is a young woman who has embraced with great passion a typically male profession and which takes shape in the transformation, through the distillation process, of pomace into grappa. Within the company, the salary gap between men and women was 10.25% in 2024, with a robust tendency to narrow (16.30% in 2023). In 2023, the company also provided, as Welfare for all employees, a total amount of almost 200,000 euros. Bottega, in collaboration with Villa Salus of Mestre, finally offered the entire workforce a cardiological screening, which included a thorough specialist visit. 126 employees have joined the program, which is running out in recent days.

Bottega - The Bottega family, which has four centuries of history in the world of wine and grappa, founded the company of the same name, which is both a winery and distillery. It is based in Bibano di Godega (TV), 50 km north of Venice, where it produces grappa, wines and liqueurs. Among the grappas, the prized selections of single varieties and the spirits matured in barrique stand out. The range of Bottega wines includes Prosecco, including the well-known Bottega Gold, and other sparkling wines with great personality. In detached cellars, in Valpolicella, Chianti and Montalcino, Amarone, Ripasso, Chianti Gallo Nero, Brunello di Montalcino and other great reds are produced. The offer is completed by a wide range of fruit and cream liqueurs. The Bottega company distributes its products in 150 countries around the world. For many years, Bottega SpA has made an indissoluble commitment to sustainability, which has led to real and concrete results in reducing the impact on the environment, society and the economy.
