28 Italian Gin Producers at the 3rd edition of Saranno Famosi nel Vino - December 8th and 9th in Florence

Tasting stands, cooking shows, masterclasses, food and events in the city's wine shops and restaurants, Gin Tonic Party

With the patronage of the Municipality of Florence and the Chamber of Commerce of Florence, with the collaboration of Confesercenti Firenze, Fisar Firenze and PromoFirenze and with the contribution of Landini Passion For Innovation, Chianti Banca and Gruppo Saida.

Saranno Famosi nel vino , scheduled for Sunday 8 and Monday 9 December at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, will also be about gin and will welcome 28 Italian producers for its third edition with their precious spirits to taste pure or in Gin Tonic version.

On Sunday, from 7pm , again at the Leopolda station, the Gin Tonic Party will come to life, with music by Disco Circus Machine. Those who attend the party will be able to taste the gin and tonics offered by the 28 gin exhibitors and enjoy the dishes of the internal restaurant managed by Hostaria Il Rialto, the sandwiches and hamburgers prepared by Simone dell'Osso and the sweets of Ditta Artigianale.

Admission to the party will be free for those who have purchased a ticket for the event, while for others it will cost 10 euros, including a Gin Tonic. Additional gin tonics will cost 10 euros.

The third edition of Saranno famosi nel vino will also bring together 80 wineries from all over Italy, recently established businesses that are yet to be discovered, or companies that have introduced one or more new labels to the market in the last ten years.

By purchasing the entrance ticket you will be able to taste over 300 wine references and sample all the gins of the 28 participating producers.

There will also be masterclasses organized and directed by the artistic director of the event Leonardo Romanelli and by Fisar Firenze and cooking shows directed and presented by the journalist Leonardo Romanelli.

1:30 pm cooking show with chef Lorenzo Vendali of 25 Hours Hotel Firenze - proposed dish "Bread, belly and green sauce" - wine pairing MONT'ILLÌ classic method 24 months 50% passerina - 50% sangiovese - cantinana Casale Vitali - Marche. The calendar of the third edition of Saranno famosi nel vino will be enriched by food stands and the possibility of purchasing bottles of both wine and gin.

Saranno Famosi nel Vino will also go outside the Stazione Leopolda to involve restaurants and wine shops and wine bars in Florence . Starting on Saturday afternoon, you can dive into the mood of the event, wandering around the city in a series of wine shops to get to know some producers together with their wines. In addition to this, in the days leading up to the event, numerous restaurants in Florence will welcome the labels of Saranno Famosi nel Vino on their menus.
