Italian White Wine Chiarandà

Organoleptic characteristics: Its color is straw yellow with golden reflections. It smells of ripe yellow fruit, golden apple with hints of peach and sweet vanilla. The taste is characterised by enveloping roundness. It has an important structure balanced by acidity and fruity flavour. Serving suggestions: Excellent with smoked fish, first and second courses complexed and tasty, medium-seasoned cheese. Production area: Contessa Entellina, in the province of Palermo. Production techniques: The Chardonnay grapes harvested nighttime in August and the Ansonica grapes collected in September are processed separately. The must obtained by soft pressing fermentates at controlled temperature and age for five or six months on yeasts, half in small tanks made of cement and half in barrels made of French oak wood. Grape varieties allowed for its production: 50% Chardonnay, 50% Ansonica.
