Historical-cultural information and curiosities: The Passerina grape varieties (also known as "Pagadebiti") seems to be native of central Italy, its name probably derives from the characteristics of the grapes, golden yellow and very sweet, irresistible to sparrows. Serving suggestions: Excellent with seafood dishes, very good with shellfish. It also goes well with legumes soups. Production area: Province of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo. Grape varieties allowed for its production: Passerina (minimum 85%). Grapes from other white berry varieties suitable for cultivation in the Marche region (for a maximum of 15%) can contribute to the production.
