Sauvignon Blanc

The name comes from the French word "sauvage", to say wild, an adjective due to its origins as a grape variety of the South–West of France. It is, thanks to its freshness and aroma, one of the most popular white grape varieties in the world: it is also grown in New Zealand, South Afica, California and a small share in Italy. In addition to Sauvignon Blanc, there are other varieties: Sauvignon Gris, the Rosé, Noir, Vert and Violet. Its grapes produce a white wine of the same name, with the characteristics of good structure, elegance, softness and unmistakable smell of grass.
