Rosato, rosé

Term for pink wines. True rosés are made with red grapes and not blending white wines with red wines.
A wine is defined rosé if his color, in effect, is pinkish (with shades ranging from pale to bright pink salmon). This colour is derived from the short contact of the must and the skins that were pressed before fermentation. Generally rosé wines are light–bodied, lively and fruity (to serve young and fresh). The rosé goes well with light dishes and spicy cuisines such as Mexican, Chinese and Thai.
