Nebbiolo

It is a very fine vine producing wines for aging of the highest quality especially for the completeness of all its characteristics; in effect is presents a good balance of colour, body, acidity, aroma and alcoholic strength. It is also one of the oldest vines: it is mentioned for the first time in the "Liber agriculture" of the end of the thirteenth century. It is the noble progenitor of the greatest red wines of Piedmont – Barolo, Barbaresco, Gattinara – and a group of other wines of Piedmont, Lombardy (Valtellina) and Val d’Aosta. We can say that is a symbol of Italian viticulture.
