Grenache Noir is a red grape variety among the most widely cultivated in the world. However, it is mainly grown in southern France and in the Rhone Valley; in Italy it is one of the most cultivated vines known as Cannonau. It gives fruity wines, of fresh taste and light color, subject to rapid oxidation.
