Charmat

The Charmat is a method, called also of large vessels, which is used to obtain sparkling wines characterized by fruity and sweet aromas. Then, it is a method of industry sparkling wine making that allows to work wine in a fast way and with continuous production. Basically, to wine sugar is added and, when it reaches the desired pressure, it is bottled. Some of the most suitable wines for this system of sparkling wine making are Moscato, Malvasia and Prosecco.
