It deals with awhitefruit species of vine from Burgundy and well known throughout France, where grapes are used for the production of the famous Champagne. From France also spread in the Valle D'Aosta, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Sicily. It is one of the most widely planted vine in the world. From the vines of Chardonnay we get either still wines that champagne or other sparkling with quite high alcohol strength and acidity. At sight of the Chardonnay has a golden colour, the smell reminds the scent of lily and jasmine and taste is characterized by its harmony.
