A wine is "cedary" if its aromas and flavours are reminiscent of the fragrance (characteristic and aromatic) of the cedar tree. The adjective is often combined with Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux. These are wines that, aging in oak barrels, can take this aroma. Sometimes Porto is described as "cedary", too.
