Azienda Agricola Valentina Cubi

Azienda Agricola Valentina Cubi is located near the city of Verona, in the hills of Valpolicella. The business, of family ownership, is run by the owner that gives it her name, Valentina Cubi, and consists of 13 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and orchards. The vineyards are in conversion towards organic farming and produce the raw materials for the manufacture of authentic Valpolicella, Amarone and Recioto: wines based on the native grape Corvina.

San Giuseppe Azienda Agricola

The Azienda Agricola San Giuseppe was born in 1989 from the passion for wine and the territory of origin of Giovanni Battistella, a former building contractor, who believed in the potential of Prosecco and in the possibility of making its way into the Italian wine scene and beyond. For about 5 years he has entered the company management, but it is as if he had always been there, his son Carlo, a graduate in Viticulture and Oenology, who followed in his father's footsteps, representing in fact the present and the future of the business familiar. Since the introduction of the DOC in 1969, the historical production area has remained limited to 15 municipalities. Two of these give it its name: Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, one the cultural capital and the other productive heart. The hills extend from east to west, so they have a slope facing south, where the vineyards enjoy the best sun exposure, and a slope facing north, usually occupied by woods. The altitude varies from 100 to 500 m and guarantees the temperature range by causing the aromas to develop. The hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco have been nominated by the Italian National Commission for UNESCO to enter the list of World Heritage Sites. The territory of Conegliano Valdobbiadene represents a cultural landscape of unique value, an expression of manual work and of the ancient sparkling wine tradition.

Borgo Antico Azienda Agricola

Borgo Antico is a family owned winery in the hills of Conegliano Veneto, a land of moraine origin and rich in clay that has always been devoted to the cultivation of vines and that gives wines delicate scents and particularly determined aromas.

The adventure begins in 1973, when Mr. Marchesin Vito decides to produce local wines, involving the whole family and especially his son Leonardo who, as a child, accompanies him into the vineyard taking in the atmosphere and learning the secrets of a fascinating work, initiating that learning which will lead Leonardo to become winemaker. In 1995 he takes over the reins of the company, which now has 15 hectares of land and produces 70,000 bottles a year. The most widely planted variety, ie 80% of the total production, is represented by the CONEGLIANO–VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG, and by some native varieties such as Marzemino and Verdiso, while the rest is represented by Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay.



Our is a winery that vinifies only grapes of own production and of our own bestowers, these latter carefully selected and followed in the vineyard. The attention starts from the plant with a respectful approach in choosing not to use herbicides and to minimize the use of chemicals. The grape harvest done by hand in boxes certainly adds value and quality to the final product. All this is nationally recognized with awards such as the Vinitaly award (bronze medal with the sparkling wine Prosecco DOC Conegliano–Valdobbiadene 2008), numerous reviews in industry magazines such as “Grandi Spumanti Italiani”, “I Grandi Vini” – “Guida Bollicine” e by the “Gambero Rosso” guide, awarded as Italian Sparkling Wine with the best value for money. To mention are numerous awards at regional and local levels.

The company, founded in 2002, is the result of a passion for wine and in general for the world of wine, of two businessmen, Enrico Giacomelli and Claudio Gabellini, owners and managers of a major enterprise of Information Technology with main base in Senigallia: Namirial S.p.A., which operates in the sector of the software and technology services production (www.namirial.com).

Conti di Buscareto company owns more than 100 hectares of cultivated area, including 70 dedicated to vineyards.



These latter are equally divided into three groups:



–Verdicchio, located on the heights of Arcevia;

–Lacrima Nera, present in the ancient Contrada Sant’Amico of Morro d’Alba;

–a variety of vines, national (Montepulciano and Sangiovese) and international (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) located in the estates of Monte San Vito and Camerata Picena.



From the olive groves present in the estates of Cartoceto and Monte San Vito two varieties of Extra Virgin Olive Oil of high quality are also obtained: the first is more decisive and fruity, the second is more delicate and light.

The entire production process of the products is performed directly by the company, from the management of the vineyards, to the grape harvest, to processing in the wine cellar, to the final preparation of the wines and their bottling. Wine production, in its various expressions, has increased exponentially in recent years (from 30,000 bottles of 2003 we reached 250,000 in 2012).

From this family the suggestions of a winery that produces wine according to the dictates of time and in respect of the land are created, with an ever watchful eye on sustainable production.

The result is prestigious wines: the classics of the tradition of Trentino wine in conjunction with contemporary experiments in cuvée and innovative proposals of wine from the Tuscan Maremma derived from the cultivation of the Maremma property of Endrizzi, the Serpaia. There is also the Italian remuage Trento DOC Brut with Endrizzi and even a single grape variety grappa, typical of Trentino wine culture and its historical wine producers.

Cadibon

Cadibon. A family, a land, the art of wine
"Qui di Bon" is the meaning of the name Cadibon, a synthesis that symbolizes the importance of the territory and of the family tradition in the
creation of wines that express together the power of nature and the wisdom of man.

Corno di Rosazzo and Eastern Hills of Friuli are the cradle of the Cadibon wines. White and red wines with a strong temperament treated with great passion and attention to the environment by Luca Bon, a young but already experienced vinegrower and, together, sophisticated and meticulous winemaker. The tradition of hospitality of local people is confirmed by the new winery, designed to offer maximum functionality for the processing of grapes and aging, but also to welcome visitors and lovers for a wine tasting and a tasting of locally sourced products.

The Cadibon label identifies the best of the company production. This selection is flanked by a white wine and a Merlot signed "L’Osteria", two products that bear the same name of the homonimous venue of San Giovanni al Natisone, personally coordinated by Ameris Bon, who divides his attentions among guests and the typical recipes of his cuisine.

The seat of the Cadibon farm has always been in Casali Gallo resort, in Corno di Rosazzo, in one of the most evocative corners of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the heart of the production of some of the best white wines in the world.

A succession of forests, vineyards, scattered farmhouses, some ancient villa and a severe abbey–fortress which is an environmental paradise and a wildlife island.

Characteristic of the territory, from the agricultural point of view, the so–called "ponca", the terrain consisting of thick deposits of calcareous clay and marl, very precious because of the quality of the grapes that you can grow. The country where the company is located is identified also by the River Corno, a tributary of the Judrio, a river in which it flows after a journey of 24 km that begins at the foot of Mount Plagnava.


In addition to the production of wines, the area is famous for a wonderful culinary tradition, the main symbol of which is certainly the famous San Daniele ham. Corno di Rosazzo is surrounded by destinations of great historical and cultural value. Among these, Cividale and Aquileia, a Unesco heritage resort, Villa Manin in Codroipo, Udine, Trieste and, at about 100 km, Venice. Besides the nearby border, Slovenia offers interesting natural and tourism beauties, too.

We decide to pick each grape variety after several days of continuous steps of tasting and observation of grapes.

Azienda Agricola Drusian Francesco Cantine Valdobbiadene

The Drusian family has been producing wine for three generations.

The grandfather Giuseppino began in mid–Nineteenth century, and after him his son Rino went on until 1984, the year in which Francesco succeeded. Lover of his land and of the fruits that it offers, he was the creator of some major technological breakthroughs and, since 1986, started to produce sparkling wine.

The new winery in S. Giacomo di Valdobbiadene, equipped with highly modern plants of wine–making and bottling, goes back to 1998.

The current production is of about 800 thousand bottles of Prosecco and Cartizze every year: a limited production and of high quality. The secret is in love for land and wine, in the passion for this work, and in a wise use of the most modern technologies. It is enough to say that in the vines insecticides and pesticides are not used, fertilizers are organic and non–chemical, grapes are harvested by hand, then squeezed to a maximum pressure of one bar not to compromise the quality of the must. At the end of the process, wine is stored in tanks at low temperature and bottled in the absence of oxygen, so that to be kept fresh and fragrant, forever young, full of scents and delicate and persistent aromatic nuances of flowers and fruits.
