Azienda Tilli

Located in the Municipality of Casoli (CH), on the borders of the Majella massif and the eponymous park, at an average altitude of 400 meters above sea level. Lands in the vicinity of the Aventino river, close to Lake S.Angelo the function of climate mitigation.

The altitude, the temperature, the temperature ranges and the exposure make the microclimate unique especially in the final result of processing: products that are difficult to reproduce elsewhere.

The company’s hectares of land consist of many plots with various exposures and mineral composition. The agronomic management is practiced with organic methods.

We verify the natural adaptability of the Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino and Merlot varieties to individual plots, analyzing the soil, the microclimate, the exposure. We identify first of all the cultivar to plant, the best rootstocks and the optimal clones for a production of quality aimed to an excellent wine–making. The vineyards are grown with espalier method with a high density of vines per hectare (over 4,000). Severe pruning limits the output below 100 q/ha.


The new winery, under construction on the site of the old structures, above the new vineyards, has been designed with a careful assessment of the environmental and architectural features. The basement has an ideal climate for storing and aging in oak barrels and a space dedicated to wine tasting accompanied by strictly local food products.

Not only wine: we keep jealously plots of the ancient olive groves and plant trees where the different cultivars of the territory of Casoli dwell (Gentile, Intosso, Crognalegno, Olivastro) to which we have added new single–variety plants built with modern agronomic choices. The farming system is polyconic vase with pruning and harvesting by hand. The harvesting of stone–fruits and subsequent cold milling within 24 hours ensure the absolute goodness of oil.

A bit of our history



The awareness of the treasure made of the wisdom we have received by two generations, made ​​of tough sacrifices, tireless arms and firm values​, unfortunately has to face the bitter experience to see everything we do ignored and sometimes trampled by people animated only by the lucrative concept of industrialization. From the union of mixed emotions, very strong, the desire to make know a more natural, more authentic face of our work, which is fulfilled with Azienda Agricola La Vinarte. Its roots lie in the period after the first world war, when the desire for rebirth was strong in every heart, even in that of grandfather Vito and grandmother Sabia, who planted the first vines, perhaps unaware of starting a story that has been going on for 70 years. In effect, the passion was picked up by father Filippo and mother Filomena, who founded the modern farm to which they have been devoting lovingly, year after year, making significant improvements in quality, planting vineyards in different zones of the Frentana area, emphasizing the different terroirs in the grapes. Those great emotions have been transmitted, involving us in various business activities in our childhood, to us children: Vito, Luciano and Domenico. Today we deal personally, with every single activity within the company, taking advantage of a good technical and scientific preparation, of course taking into account the valuable advice of the more than forty years of experience of our parents, who still give their daily contribution. Our challenge is to give the right value to the generosity of the product that the earth has to offer.



La Vinarte, because ...



We are both farmers and a little bit craftsmen. Cultivating vines and making wine are not considered just as a job, but more than anything else a Passion that involves us inspiring new ideas, always giving us great emotions. Being able to collect every feeling and place them in a simple bottle is possible only thanks to the uniqueness of this nectar.

We do not want just to produce wine, but to share these emotions.
