Masi presents Lunatio and Beldosso! Two white wines from the Veronese tradition will make their debut, enriching the biological offer of the specialist cellar of the Venetian wines.

With this novelty, the company further expands its range of white wines, positioned in the premium sector in line with the corporate strategy.

Lunatio Lugana DOC 2019 and Beldosso Lugana DOC 2018 interpret with the contemporary style of the Masi winery a great classic of the Veronese wine school, the Lugana DOC, produced with traditional Trebbiano grapes in selected vineyards, in the historical production area that extends over the rolling hills south of Garda, between the provinces of Verona and Brescia.

"They are both organic wines, from grapes grown in the sign of sustainability, following the protocol of the Project" Quality grapes "of the Masi Technical Group (GTM), which has always paid maximum attention to respect for the territory and the environment, in the sign of our culture and Masi Green philosophy " , explains Raffaele Boscaini, GTM Coordinator.

Lunatio 2019 is characterized by its immediate drinkability and freshness. Pale yellow in color, it offers the nose an unexpected aromatic intensity, reminiscent of pineapples and citrus fruits. The palate confirms the sense of smell, appreciates the lively acidity and the very dry, slightly herbaceous finish. Ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to appetizers, pastas and Mediterranean flavors and light fish dishes.

Beldosso 2018, produced from selected grapes, has a good structure thanks to the refinement of 4 months in oak barrels and one year in steel, entering the market the second year after the harvest: a strong, important white. It has a characteristic rather intense golden yellow color, it expresses itself on the nose with intense citrus and passion fruit aromas; the light notes of vanilla are captivating. In the mouth it is full and expressive, with an intriguing finish reminiscent of almonds. In addition to the aperitif, it perfectly accompanies fish and crustacean appetizers, risotto and pasta with light sauces, white meats. Perfect with pizza.

Federico Girotto, CEO of Masi Agricola , commented: "In this complex and delicate phase for our country, it is essential to continue to oversee the markets and give signs of continuity in the activity of our businesses. We are lucky that right now Masi can present its two Lugana, designed by the Technical Group to be respectful of tradition and contemporary for ecological and qualitative sensitivity. Masi is known all over the world for the excellence of its red wines, primarily Amarone, but today we are proud to announce the enhancement of our offer with two significant new whites, which are added to the other great expressions of white wines from the Venetians, from our vineyards in Trentino, Veneto and Friuli ".

MASI AGRICOLA: Masi is the leading producer of Amarone and has always interpreted the values of the Venice region with passion. Its history begins at the end of the XVIII century, when the Boscaini family purchases precious vineyards in the small valley called "Vaio dei Masi", in the heart of the Classic Valpolicella. For over forty years it has launched an ambitious project to enhance historic wine estates, collaborating with the Counts Serego Alighieri, descendants of the poet Dante, owners of the estate which in Valpolicella can boast the longest history and tradition, and with the Counts Bossi Fedrigotti , prestigious Trentino label with vineyards in Rovereto. Masi also owns the Poderi del Bello Ovile organic farm in Tuscany and Masi Tupungato in Argentina. Masi has a recognized expertise in the Appassimento technique, practiced since ancient Roman times, to concentrate color, sugars, aromas and tannins in wine, and is one of the historical interpreters of Amarone: its president, Sandro Boscaini, represents the sixth generation of the family that helped create Italian excellence with this wine. Today Masi produces five different Amaroni, the widest and most qualified range available on the international market. Sandro Boscaini currently holds the position of President of Federvini, the Italian Federation of Industrial Manufacturers, Exporters and Importers of Wines, Spirits, Liqueurs, Syrups, Vinegars and similar.

Masi expands its product portfolio with two new wines: the Lugana DOC Lunatio and Beldosso, thus offering the market its "ecological" version of one of the characteristic denominations of the Garda area, rediscovered and appreciated in Italy and abroad.
