FOR THE SECOND YEAR THE SOUTH TYROL WINE CONSORTIUM AWARDS THE GAMBERO ROSSO AWARD "RESTAURANT WITH THE BEST VEGETARIAN PROPOSAL"

On the occasion of the presentation of Gambero Rosso's 2024 Italian Restaurant Guide, the Alto Adige Wine Consortium awards the prestigious "Restaurant with the best vegetarian offer" award to three establishments that have stood out for their extremely high quality vegetarian cuisine: Fàula of Casa di Langa in Cerretto Langhe, the Silene Restaurant in Seggiano in the province of Grosseto and the Sensi Restaurant in Amalfi.

On Monday 16 October, in the splendid setting of the Quirino Theater in Rome, the presentation of the Gambero Rosso Restaurant Guide of Italy 2024 took place during which the Alto Adige Wine Consortium awarded for the second year in a row, as sponsor, the “Restaurant with the best vegetarian offer” award.

Three establishments were awarded this prestigious recognition by the President of the Consortium Andreas Kofler: Fàula di Casa di Langa in Cerretto Langhe in the province of Cuneo, Ristorante Silene in Seggiano in the province of Grosseto and the Sensi Restaurant in Amalfi, all catering establishments whose name is intimately linked to a vegetarian offering of the highest level. “After last year's positive experience - explains the President of the Alto Adige Wine Consortium Andreas Kofler - as a Consortium we are happy and honored to personally support and deliver this important award. We are faced with excellent Italian catering establishments that stand out for their dedication, originality, creativity and attention to the raw materials that nature offers us. It is a source of absolute pride, as the Alto Adige Wine Consortium, to support and enhance this type of catering in which we firmly believe. Furthermore, this is an important opportunity for us to be proud ambassadors of the territory I represent, Alto Adige, a small territory in size which however offers an extremely complex and varied mosaic of territories, vines, microclimates capable of offering products excellent products known throughout the world for their quality. A unique wine-growing area in the world where passionate winemakers work, thanks to which we have become the first Italian region for white wines - just think of our Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay or even Pinot grigio - and a point of reference for red wines, including the native Schiava and Lagrein but also our Pinot Noir.”
