The Consortium for the protection of Monte Veronese DOP cheese is a partner of Tocatì , the International Street Games Festival to be held in Verona from 17 to 19 September 2021 . The 19th edition of the Festival is organized by the Ancient Games Association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona and with the patronage of the Veneto Region and the Province of Verona. To indicate the leitmotif of the events and to orient yourself on the map, there will be different colors : red identifies the games, blue the encounters and the yellow color distinguishes the places of the Festival dedicated to flavors . Like the Osteria del Gioco in the courtyard of Palazzo Forti , a historic and elegant building in the city of Verona: a new location for the Osteria most loved by the Festival audience, which is once again a safe haven where to meet and witness the desire for conviviality. and lightheartedness. Here you can taste the typical flavors of the territory, which will be present thanks to the partnership with the Consortium for the protection of Monte Veronese DOP , the cheese of the Lessini Mountains.

Play is essential for growth and learning, so too is discovering flavors and their history. Together with the Monte Veronese DOP cheeses, offered in different ages, it will be possible to taste products from the Coldiretti area and the wines of Cantine di Verona. For the public it will be possible to reach L'Osteria del Gioco in Palazzo Forti, in Via Achille Forti 1, Friday 17 from 18.00 to 22.30, Saturday 18 from 11.00 to 23.00 and Sunday 19 from 11.00 to 20.00.
A novelty , to strengthen its link with the playful culture, is the possibility of finding games even in the place of the Osteria . In fact, at Palazzo Forti there will be Awalè Wari - The sowing game proposed by the African Museum and the Gioco dei Forti by Veronauti. It will be a place designed for children and also equipped with services suitable for children, here the public will in fact also find a nursery , by Il Melograno, Maternity and Birth Information Center, where mothers and fathers can feel free to change. and breastfeed their own boys and girls.

The main theme of this year is water , which has always been able to favor commercial and cultural exchanges between countries, also facilitating the dissemination and knowledge of traditional games throughout Europe.
