On the 15 th of September , during the Friuli Doc was held the ceremony of the Divine Spirit in 2012, the international competition dedicated to the most entertaining and original cartoons on the theme of wine. This year the theme was addressed most: the crisis to the flavor of wine. Many in fact the cartoons, with imagination and wit, they offered a very innovative way of interpreting and living the difficulties of the economic crisis. The edition of Spirit Divino 2012 This year's event was very well attended: 500 cartoons were sent from all over the world. The participants competed in two sections based on the age group to which they belong: the first reserved for cartoonists from 18 to 35 years of age, and the second to artists who are over 36 years of age. Jury selection and exhibition of the Divine Spirit The jury was truly exceptional: led by Alfio Krancic and honorary president Giorgio Forattini and composed of the cream of Italian satire: Emilio Giannelli (cartoonist), Valerio Marini (cartoonist), Gianluigi Colin (art director of the Corriere della Sera) Franz Botrè and Enzo Rizzo (Director and Deputy Editor of Spirit Tasting), Carlo Cambi (editor of the magazine Wine Passion), Paolo Marchi (journalist of Il Giornale), Aldo Colonetti (scientific director of the European Institute of Design), Faith & Tinto (Decanter - RadioRai), Francesco Salvi (actor) and Elda Felluga (Chairman of the Wine Tourism Movement FVG). Thirty were the cartoons that have been chosen by the jury to participate in the final stages of the competition. To the cartoons selected is of a special exhibition at the Sala Colonne di Palazzo Florio. The honor for the candidates was to be on display alongside the masters of Italian satire: Forattini, Giannelli, Krancic and Marini.
