A study in Nature says that 2 glasses of red wine are enough to have important health benefits

The latest research claimed that 100 were the glasses of red wine to drink a day to have beneficial effects on health, others believe that it is not resveratrol to benefit humans.

The most recent research has been published in Nature and says that resveratrol is really able to protect cells from stress and that only two glasses of wine are sufficient to activate the triggered protective mechanisms.

What is resveratrol?

Resveratrol is a substance produced by plants to protect themselves from drought, ultraviolet rays or infections. This substance appears to be associated with beneficial effects on health, such as the prevention of diabetes in obese mice. This new study has revealed that within the cell it behaves as an amino–acid, tyrosine, which in conditions of stress binds to an enzyme, the tRNA synthetase TyrRS, which carries it inside the nucleus.

On the bases of these research Mathew Sajish, first name of the study, it is conceivable that a moderate consumption of a few glasses of red wine (rich in resveratrol) provides a person enough resveratrol to induce a protective effect through this mechanism.

The researcher hypothesized that the effects of this molecule observed at much higher doses in previous studies may have confused the cards on the table.
