The Treviso-based farm Antonio Facchin & Figli was exhibited in the world event held in Alto Adige and obtained the most coveted recognition with its Raboso: the Platinum Medal which, together with the other titles won by Facchin wines, confirms the quality of the productions of the reality that has its roots on the banks of the Piave.

In fact, in these hours the news is that, after having obtained the Gold at the "Città del Vino" Competition and the Crown of "Vinibuoni d'Italia" , the wine of the Antonio Facchin & Figli farm in San Polo di Piave (TV) yet another prestigious recognition is brought to the Brand, also accompanied by the Gold Medal at Baruchella and the four Red Medals obtained at the South Tyrolean event from as many labels from the Treviso company, confirming the quality of Facchin creations with as many as six products on top of the world.

The Merano WineFestival , now in its 30th edition, is a prestigious worldwide event that since 1992 has brought together food and wine excellences: it was the first event in Europe to focus on the selected quality of wines and the first ever to be called WineFestival. The event can be attended by companies producing wine, food, beer and spirits after having undergone a long and rigid selection process, a feature that has made this event unique since the very beginning. The best competing productions are awarded with the WineHunter Award after the careful evaluation of the commission of experts chaired by Helmut K öcher , creator of the Merano WineFestival and "wine hunter" par excellence.

Only wines that obtain a score of at least 90 out of 100, in fact, can aspire to a Medal: a guarantee of superior quality for the final consumer. In addition to a visual, olfactory and gustatory evaluation, other criteria are taken into consideration to fully measure the qualities of the wine, such as intensity, personality, sustainability, artisanal production and territoriality. In addition, the prizes are divided into three bands: the product that has a quotation between 90 and 92.99 points wins the Red medal, those who reach 95.99 get the Gold medal while those who are close to perfection take home the the Platinum .

And right on the top step is the Raboso Géron 2011 which can now continue to boast the Platinum WineHunter Award , a result in continuity with the prestigious Corona di Vinibuoni d'Italia , delivered to the Facchin Brothers at the Puccini Theater in Merano by the editors of the guide , Alessandro Scorsone and Mario Busso, and the Gold Medal of the "Città del Vino" International Wine Competition. The Facchin product thus confirmed the success achieved in Merano last year with the 2008 vintage, focusing on history, tradition and taste, bringing together the ability to drink with the hand of the winemaker and fully exploiting the potential of Raboso Piave .

But the satisfactions for the San Polo di Piave company do not end there because, again at the Merano WineFestival, the Barucchella IGT 2014 obtained the Gold Medal after the Silver Medal at the Brussels World Competition . Finally, a quartet of wines was awarded the Red Medal : Prosecco Rosè sparkling DOC Treviso extra brut vintage (formerly the Silver Medal of "Mundus Vini"), Unno Malanotte del Piave DOCG 2011 (Gold Medal "Città del Vino "), Caminada Passito Incontro Manzoni 6.0.13 Veneto IGT (also Gold Medal" City of Wine ") and Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG vintage brut .
