The fourth edition of Dialoghi a Col Brià , the cultural event promoted by the La Farra winery of the Adamaria brothers, Innocente and Guido Nardi and curated by Nerella Barazzuol and Rosanna Mutton , concluded on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Three Saturdays, three events distinct in form and language but united by a common thread: the landscape of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills as a meeting place for those who live there, those who cultivate it, and those who pass through it with their words.
The theme chosen for this edition, "Between Woods and Non-Woods," is taken from a verse by Andrea Zanzotto and has proven, since June 6th, to be a starting point capable of opening unexpected directions. That evening, thirteen poets of varying ages and backgrounds took part in the inaugural Poetry Slam at the Col Brià Viewpoint, reached on foot via a guided walk along the vine rows. First prize was awarded to Leonardo Fantuzzi , followed by Enrico Contessotto and Rozamira Prodan . Over the course of the evening, the texts explored the distance between the natural and the urban, from Venetian dialect to onomatopoeia, with an audience invited to listen, participate, and vote.
On June 13th, the audience was further engaged with the roundtable discussion "Landscapes in Balance: Languages, Interactions, and Sustainability ." Francesco Vallerani , professor of Geography at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Zanzotto's companion in the environmental battles of the 1970s, engaged in dialogue with Enrico De Mori (FAI), Miro Graziotin (a self-described "narrabondo"), and Tommaso Antiga , a researcher at the University of Architecture in Udine, in a meeting moderated by journalist Angela Pederiva . The discussion highlighted how sustainability cannot be considered solely a technical or regulatory issue, but represents, first and foremost, a cultural challenge. The need to develop a new perspective on the territory emerged: an approach capable of combining protection, development, and awareness, recognizing the landscape as a common good to be protected and interpreted. The dialogue recalled the teachings of Andrea Zanzotto, who decades ago had already grasped the profound connection between environmental quality, language, and community identity.
Particularly significant was the reflection on the need to "bring the forest into the city": a metaphor that invites us to recover a more balanced relationship with nature, not as an element separate from everyday life, but as an essential component of collective well-being and the quality of living.
The closing event on June 20th entrusted poetry and music with the task of transforming these reflections into an emotional experience: Pierluigi Tomasi gave voice to a selection of Zanzotto's poetic verses, accompanied by the sounds of Roberto Tombesi , who, using ethnic and ancient instruments, constructed a score inspired by the sounds of the region. The poetry reading restored to the audience the evocative power of words, accompanied by sounds capable of engaging with the surrounding landscape. In this context, the forest, the vineyard, and memory became not just topics to be discussed, but living presences to be listened to and shared.
"Dialoghi a Col Brià was born from the belief that the landscape is not just a backdrop," say Adamaria, Innocente, and Guido Nardi . "It is a fundamental element of our cultural identity, which we help to publicize and aim to share with those seeking authentic experiences and discovery of the Prosecco hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene."
For Nerella Barazzuol and Rosanna Mutton , curators of the event, “the contents that emerged from the three evenings demonstrated how sustainability is not just an environmental issue, but a cultural choice that involves the way we look at the landscape, interpret our time and imagine the future” .
Now in its fourth year, the event confirms its commitment to a clear cultural vision of the role a winery can play in the life of its community. The La Farra winery, with its 25 hectares spread across Farra di Soligo, Pieve di Soligo, Follina, and San Pietro di Feletto, achieved Equalitas certification in 2026, reflecting this same commitment to a model of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
The next appointment with Dialoghi a Col Brià is scheduled for next summer.
