The Chianti Rufina will be a good wine in spite of a vintage with many difficulties and characterized by bad weather. The wine producers of the Chianti Rufina Consortium have verified that the product quality is in line with that of a good year.

"Who did a good job in the vineyard – Federico Giuntini, the President of the Chianti Rufina Consortium, explained – performed better than expected. We obtained a brightly colored product related to the fact that the vintage was cooler, these wines will become ’selection’ or ’reserve’ wines".

The year was really hard for the vinegrowers of the consortium, but there are good results.
