Autochtona 2014: on 20th and 21st October the National Forum of local wines in Fiera Bolzano will take place. The selection of Autochtona 2014 allows to know the quality and the uniqueness of the hidden gems of the wine production in our country.

The 2014 edition will have as protagonists more than 100 companies, with a total of 60 tasting counters, and more than 300 native wines from all over Italy.

Visitors can meet the winemakers who guard the native Italian wine heritage: from Vernaccia Nera to Malvasia delle Lipari, from Cococciola to Durella, from Alionza to Groppello, to get to Prünent, Catarrato, Longanesi.

Much awaited is "Autoctoni che passione!", where the best wines for tasting will be awarded with the "Autochtona Award" by a qualified Italian and international jury. The day of 22nd October will be dedicated to the Winegrowers of South Tyrol with the tasting tables of "Vinea Tirolensis". Finally, there will be a special focus on Lagrein. On Thursday, 23rd October, the homologous event "Tasting Lagrein" is back, the comparative tasting chaired this year by Christine Mayr, President of AIS South Tyrol.

Presiding over the jury of "Autoctoni che passione!" there will be the American journalist Christy Canterbury, one of the seven "Master of Wine" women in the United States. She will guide the jury in selecting the top wine in the 2014 edition.

The event in Bolzano is one of the most anticipated events in the Italian and not only wine world, as evidenced by the large participation of the producers, who have occupied almost all the space available.

On 20th and 21st October, the appointment for companies, consortia and professionals is therefore in Fiera Bolzano with Autochtona 2014.
