Organized from April 6th to 9th, the 48th edition of Vinitaly is already a record: 100,000 net square meters sold. This year there was the expansion of the Pavilion A, and a new pavilion was set up to accommodate Vininternational, dedicated to international exhibitors.

Despite these extensions, Vinitaly 2014 has had requests for participation that exceed the available areas. A real sold out of exhibitors that recognizes and values the organization’s commitment to improve services and business opportunities for exhibitors.

Strong investment to promote Vinitaly abroad and to make foreign buyers come to the salon in Verona during the event. Thanks to the countries listed in the survey carried out by the exhibitors after Vinitaly 2013, many are the countries of origin of buyers: Japan, Germany, Northern Europe, North America, Russia and China have been the most popular markets. VinitalyBio 2014: the new hall

Starting this year, the new hall Vinitalybio (Pavilion 11), organized in collaboration with Federbio and designed to give visibility to certified organic wines that have great potential, especially among consumers in North America, Northern Europe and the Far East.


Opera Wine 2014

For the third consecutive year, Vinitaly International and Wine Spectator organize Opera Wine, the “Finest Italian Wines, 100 Great Producers” grand tasting, which will be held at Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona, on the eve of Vinitaly.
