For seasonal workers employed in the vineyards of the Alta Marca Trevigiana. The outposts will be open in Valdobbiadene, Montebelluna, and Pieve di Soligo , with the aim of supporting farms and workers ahead of the upcoming harvest.
The meeting was attended by Giancarlo Bizzarri , General Director of the ULSS 2 Marca Trevigiana; Franco Adami , President of the Consortium for the Protection of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG; Michele Noal , President of the Asolo Montello Wine Consortium; and representatives of the agricultural organizations CIA , Coldiretti, and Confagricoltura . The President of Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene, Stefano De Rui , hosted the event.
The meeting, held in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene production area, focused on the need to simplify and make the mandatory health care process easier for seasonal workers involved in the grape harvest. This phase requires meticulous preparation by wineries and effective coordination between companies, health institutions, consortia, and trade associations every year.
The collaboration between Ulss 2 Marca Trevigiana, the Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, and the Consorzio Vini Asolo Montello, with the support of agricultural organizations, will allow the service to be distributed across three locations in the region , reducing travel time and costs during a particularly busy period for the winemaking industry. The centers in Valdobbiadene, Montebelluna, and Pieve di Soligo will serve both the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019, and the Asolo Prosecco area. The trade organizations CIA, Coldiretti, and Confagricoltura will support the dissemination of operational information to member companies, thus facilitating access to the service and assisting businesses in preparing for the harvest.
Satisfaction was expressed by the Presidents of the two Protection Consortia , who underlined how this initiative represents a further step towards an increasingly organised and sustainable management of seasonal work in the hills.
Further details on locations, dates, times, and booking methods for visits will be communicated through the institutional channels of the entities involved.
