The solidarity initiative aims to put the culture of wine at the service of solidarity. The proceeds from the sales of Sante Rosso will be donated to the Pulcino Association.

This year it will be the turn of the AIS delegation from Treviso , which will take up the baton of the Belluno delegation and support the Associazione Pulcino OdV , a voluntary organization founded in 1966 which supports children born prematurely or with pathologies and their families, both in the of hospitalization and after discharge. The wine chosen, however, is Sante Rosso Merlot IGT 2021 from the Azienda Agricola Cecchetto Giorgio di Tezze di Piave (Treviso), a Merlot obtained from 14 rows chosen annually from the different parcels that make up the Largoni Vineyard.
Godmother of the initiative will be Sarah Fahr , central defender of the Italian national volleyball team and of Imoco Volley Conegliano, accompanied by president Piero Garbellotto .
"The appointment with Alba Vitæ becomes more and more important and awaited year after year – declares the president of AIS Veneto, Gianpaolo Breda – triggering a real competition of solidarity between our members. With this initiative our commitment to of the associations of the regional territory: we are all called to do our part to help those who are less fortunate, and we do it in our own way, that is, through the diffusion of the culture of wine".
"Premature birth – continues Elisabetta Ruzzon , president of the Pulcino Association – is a topic unknown to most and often underestimated. Six out of 100 babies are born prematurely and in order to survive they need to be separated from their parents and entrusted to the care of doctors in neonatal intensive care , with hospitalizations that can last several months. From the much-dreamed moment of the birth of their child, parents are catapulted into a bubble of isolation and absolute uncertainty about their own future and that of their children. The thread that unites AIS Veneto and the Pulcino Association passes right from here, from a mother who experienced this loneliness and isolation first-hand and who thus discovered our association and understood the importance of supporting parents".
With the proceeds from the sales of the 400 magnums of Sante Rosso 2021, the Pulcino Association will support the Home Visit project, a home service which aims to reassure, monitor and accompany the entire preterm family unit.
The magnums will be available starting from Friday 13 October on the website www.solidale.aisveneto.it/solidale with the details of the new edition. The bottles will also be sold in the delegations, in the AIS Veneto store and in the Comunian Vini store at the symbolic price of 55 euros .
