Berebene 2016: the best value for money wines

The Berebene 2016 guide of Gambero Rosso reports as many as 2 thousand labels with excellent value for money.

668 are Oscar labels, divided into "national" and "regional"

668 are the wines that have earned the Oscar for value for money, the labels that do not overcome the threshold of EUR 10 on the shelf and that are worth a taste. The pages of this guide book are devoted to those designations that help to discover an Italy made of grape varieties, more or less known, sometimes underestimated. There are many small and very small realities that make up the profile of an Italy of wine that is varied and interesting.

BereBene2016: National Oscar

Six labels have been selected – three white and three red to represent the north, center and south – that are the quintessence of Berebene. Extraordinary wines, cheap and easy to find, even in the wine stores that we indicate after each region, where you can find the best of Italy in the bottle.

Frascati Superiore Vigneto Santa Teresa ’14 of Fontana Candida

BereBene2016: Regional Oscar

In this edition, we assigned 668 quality/price Oscar to wines that on the shelves of wine stores, or of the major distribution channels, do not exceed 10 euro, oenological gems. Region by region, an affordable wine list is profiled, that in each card depicts companies and tells the characteristics of the wines with rapid and a brief information. For each region a label icon was chosen, the Regional Oscar, to represent the best expression of the quality/price ratio.
