As well as 10 are the Italian wines in the “TOP 50 WINES OF THE YEAR” 2013 of “Decanter”, historical British magazine dedicated to the world of wine.


The long–awaited “TOP 50 WINES OF THE YEAR” 2013 of the magazine “Decanter” has been issued, the English popular bible of wine.

Like every year, “Decanter” has selected the 50 best tastes considering their score but also their value for money.

Among the more than 3,200 wines tasted by “Decanter”, the number nr.1 is a Spanish wine: Faustino I Rioja Gran Reserva 2001 Faustino (as for the Top 100 of the U.S. magazine “Wine Spectator”, ed.)


Here are the first three positions of the “TOP 50 WINES OF THE YEAR” 2013 of the British magazine “Decanter”.

2 – Santa Ana, Unánime, Uco Valley, Mendoza Argentina 2007

Italy is present with even 10 wines in the very well–famous “TOP 50 WINES OF THE YEAR” 2013

On the podium, Rosso di Montalcino Pian dell’Orino 2010 (at nr. 3). The second Italian ranked, placed at nr.14, is Fiano di Avellino 2011 of Terredora, the third at nr.18, with the Soave Calssico Vigneti di Foscarino 2011 of Inama.
