"Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships" 7 World Championships and 35 medals are the numbers of the honors awarded to Italian sparkling wines

650 labels from 16 different countries attended the exclusive "Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships". The creators of the competition and the judges were three: Tom Stevenson, creator of the award, the Finnish Master of Wine Essi Avellan and the Australian winemaker Tony Jordan. The wide range of sparkling wines have been awarded considering their origins and styles to propose a judgment with the context and the typicality of origin.

"We are extremely proud – Tom Stevenson commented – of the quality of our wines that have won our gold and silver medals, but it is clear that we have not reached everyone with our message in the first year of our competition. There were some categories that we have not sufficiently promoted, giving them the opportunity to participate and leave their mark next year".
