12 are the wines winners of the Premio Qualità Abruzzo 2014, the wine competition conceived and promoted by the "Leonardo" school of high and further education of Qualiform.

The awards ceremony was attended by representatives of categories, consortia, associations, numerous wineries, winemakers, tasters.

«The beautiful setting of this evening – Mauro Pallini, director of the "Leonardo" school and creator of Premio Qualità Abruzzo, commented – and the strong participation of the wineries in the contest, testify how such an initiative was needed. It was definitely a thrill to attend the tasting, as it was moving to observe the satisfaction of the winners, but also of those who participated even without being rewarded. The wine competition is definitely the heart of the Premio Qualità Abruzzo as it represents the most noble product and that best identifies the Abruzzo region in the world. I think I can say that the "Leonardo" school has laid a cornerstone for a new phase of collaboration among all the actors of the Abruzzo wine system that I hope the new commissioner Dino Pepe can grasp to launch a policy of interest with an intense focus on the path of commercial recovery of wines from Abruzzo (...). Encouraged by the great success of participation, the quality of the wines presented, the professionals that collaborated, the interest shown by many people, I announce that we will be here also with the 2015 edition of Premio Qualità Abruzzo, whose awards ceremony is scheduled for 11th July, too. A goodbye to everyone with the invitation to support a more active participation, to become stronger in Abruzzo, in Italy and in the world, with the best wines of Italy: the Abruzzo ones. Thanks to all those who have contributed to the success of the competition».
