OIV, International Organisation of Vineyard and Wine, has updated  temporary charts of worldwide wine production.

This first charts seem strees a balance in the wine market, although the crisis seems that there have been major setbacks, the produzine seems stable.

World production settles on 270 million hectoliters, the Eu and 'recovery seen in 159 million hectoliters, albeit with only marginal growth.

Europe wins much of the Chile-Argentina, Australia and the USA.
U.S. and Argentina seem to have contractions.  Chile stands out instead with a jump of 15.5%.

The production of Italian wine is decreasing while France's  one increased, slight but constant over the past 4 years.

But these numbers are provisional, in the meantime and we begin to question about it.

The numbers seem to say that it is stationary on the whole, Italy is not, why?
