«The result of this year – the commissioner Fabrizio Nardoni said – rewards again and more and more an increasing trend of this production. We say this from Otranto and from the region that represents for 40% national production of this quality and from a territory that with the Wine CMO measures, with the measures on the "wine promotion in third countries", as well as with the Competition, has been giving for a long time a strong acceleration to a market trend that can be of further success especially for Italian and Puglia wines».

«I do not hide the excitement for the five medals that Puglia brings home – the senator Dario Stefàno stated – thereby increasing the competitive quality of the samples. A beautiful contest that tells our history, with the participation of all regions who have brought their own heritage of values, practices and knowledge. A winning experience in which our cultural and productive roots have become engines of economic growth for businesses and for our territories».
