Nero d’avola

Also known as "Calabrese", is one of the most famous Sicilian wines. The name of the vine derives both from the typical colour of the blak grape and to the fact that the first coupling was made at Avola. The wine has an intense ruby ??red colour, its bouquet is given by a combination of notes of violet, black pepper and graphite and finally the flavour is smooth and balanced. It is on the market both pure and together with other grapes such as, for example, Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon.
