Vine of likely Ligurian origin, cultivated mainly in the area of Savona, with a minimal presence in the western province of Genoa. It gives cool, dry and fruity wines that, in the traditional version (with fermentation on the skins), take on most interesting variations with hints of woodsmoke and a stronger structure in the mouth.
