Vignaioli in Fortezza 2025: Success Despite the Rain
Civitella del Tronto hosted the second edition of Vignaioli in Fortezza , organized by ForTerra, on May 11-12. Over 40 producers and more than 200 labels animated an “artisanal” event in the true sense of the word, with spirits, accessories and a quality food area, including the famous SantoPalato tavern. The public, numerous despite the bad weather, confirmed the growing value of the event.
Cantine Aperte 2025: Record Turnout Across Italy
The 32nd edition of the event exceeded all expectations. Tastings, music, yoga among the vineyards and real parties animated the Italian wineries. Great enthusiasm in Abruzzo and Umbria, where 70 thousand euros were collected for AIRC.
Vinaltum 2025 closes with growth
Schloss Freudenstein in San Michele Appiano hosted over 800 visitors and 120 Italian and international wineries. The masterclasses were sold out and there was great satisfaction with the quality and participation.

Italian wine grows in 2025: 1.7% sales and 2% exports
According to Mediobanca, Italian companies expect moderate growth for the current year, with particularly positive performances for sparkling wines (4.4% sales, 6.1% exports). Still wines, on the other hand, estimate more moderate growth.
Internationalization at 46.6%: almost one bottle out of two consumed abroad
The sector has a strong foreign projection: in 2024 the ratio between exports and consumption reached 46.6%. Italy remains the leading exporting country in terms of quantity, second in terms of value behind France.
Italian exports recover in 2025, but domestic consumption falls
The first quarter of 2025 shows positive signs abroad (8% in value), while in Italy there is a drop in sales in the off-trade channel (-1.5% in value, -4% in volume), a sign of still weak domestic demand.
