ITALIAN WINERIES
Collis Veneto Wine Group acquires Cantina Sociale di Monteforte d'Alpone. A merger that will reshape the balance of power in the Soave region: 7,200 hectares, 2,450 members, and a combined balance sheet expected to exceed €220 million. The historic Veronese winery, which has been part of the Collis Group for 70 years, has strengthened its production, particularly in Soave Classico and Valpolicella.
Collis expands in Soave: acquisition of Cantina Sociale di Monteforte d'Alpone. The transaction completes a process that began with the leasing of the production branch in 2024. Collis thus gains 1,200 hectares and over 4 million bottles, expanding its presence in the Soave Classico area.

Tuscany, queen of wine The Berebene guide features the Rosso di Montalcino 2023 (95 points) and a wide range of labels between 93 and 94 points, from Chianti Classico to Vernaccia.

WINE EVENTS
60th Anniversary of the Italian Sommelier Association – Romagna in Festa. Tastings, masterclasses, and 400 wines to sample at Cesena Fiera. The event is open to the public, with free admission for 1,500 AIS members from Romagna.
Rome Wine Expo – Registration is now open for the 5th edition of 2026. New location: The Westin Excelsior on Via Veneto. A key event for professionals and enthusiasts from across Italy.
Torgiano Winter – The fourth edition kicks off. From November 23rd to December 12th, a rich program conceived by the Municipality of Torgiano and the Lungarotti Foundation: art, wine, and culture for Umbria's "winter living room."
