Open Cellars: Appointments in the Marche this weekend

This weekend, Cantine Aperte 2024 opens the doors to eight wineries in the province of Treviso. Events include guided tours of the vineyards and cellars, spit and porchetta tastings accompanied by glasses of wine, masterclasses on native wines and bubbles, and walks in the organic vineyard. Guests will also be able to explore the ancient spinning mill with wine tastings paired with local dishes, participate in a five-wine tasting counter and enjoy DJ sets, picnic areas, games and entertainment. The itinerant tasting route will offer wines paired with typical seasonal products, and it will be possible to visit the ancient barrel cellar, the underground galleries and a Palladian-style villa. The Wine Street Tasting Itinerant Tastings are back. The historic center will be animated on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 May by the Wine Street Tasting itinerant tastings, organized by the CRE[AT]IVE Association. By participating in this event, now in its 12th edition, you will be able to explore the proposals of 40 clubs, bars and restaurants. Guests will have the opportunity to taste appetizers, first courses, meat and fish second courses, cheeses and desserts, accompanied by local wines. International dishes, such as Peruvian empanadas, will also be available, with an information point located in Piazza San Secondo.

Campania Stories 2024: Whites in the Foreground The 2024 edition of Campania Stories takes place in Sannio, at the luxury refuge "Tenute del Gheppio" in Dugenta, with the patronage of the Campania Region and Ais Campania. Over 90 Campania companies present the new vintages of their wines. The first day, dedicated to white wines, saw a subdued performance from Fiano di Avellino Docg, while Greco di Tufo impressed with charismatic and aromatic wines.
