VALTÈNESI RETURNS TO THE FOREGROUND AT VINITALY 2026 IN THE YEAR OF THE 130TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MOLMENTI METHOD

The Valtènesi Consortium is strengthening its presence at Vinitaly 2026, confirming its commitment to showcasing a uniquely rosé and its terroir. At the Palaexpo, Valtènesi will present a renovated and larger stand to the international public, designed to showcase the identity of the Garda Riviera and engage visitors, professionals, and the press in an immersive experience of flavor, terroir, and production culture.

Participation in Vinitaly is part of an intense promotional campaign launched by the Consortium in recent months, continuing a spring packed with events including trade fairs, training sessions, and local activities.

Following the success of the bell placed at the stand last year, this year Valtènesi is offering an even more engaging experience. Among the most original new features, visitors will find the Valtènesi Wheel of Fortune , designed to make the exhibition space even more vibrant and interactive. With a simple spin of the wheel, guests can challenge their senses as they try to discover Valtènesi wines, winning exclusive gadgets, dedicated materials, or access to a tasting of select wines.

To mark the 130th anniversary of the Molmenti Method—the traditional rosé winemaking method developed in 1896 by Pompeo Molmenti in Moniga del Garda—Vinitaly 2026 is debuting a new convivial format designed to celebrate the culture of Valtenesi rosé. This is how Valtènesi tra amici (Valtènesi among Friends) was born, an informal gathering to exchange ideas and opinions while enjoying a glass of Valtènesi – Riviera del Garda Classico. This experience is designed to showcase the wines' natural gastronomic vocation and, through tastings and pairings, showcase the tradition that has defined the Valtènesi hills for over a century. The initiative will take place on the afternoons of Monday, April 13th and Tuesday, April 14th, offering visitors a moment dedicated to discovery and conviviality.

The participation in Vinitaly comes after a busy start to the year for the Valtènesi Consortium, marked by highly attended events in the area, including the recent Prima del Valtènesi , which on March 23 brought together the press and industry professionals to present the new vintages.

Spring will continue with initiatives that have now become regular events for the denomination, such as the traditional Valtènesi in Rosa at the Castello di Moniga del Garda, the Polpenazze Wine Festival combined with the 20th edition of the Valtènesi Wine Competition – Riviera del Garda Classico and San Martino della Battaglia , and the series of dinners at the Casa del Vino in Puegnago , confirming the Consortium's ability to combine quality, culture, and conviviality.
